One-day Workshop on the Mediterranean

Call for participation

The main theme of this one-day workshop is energy efficient communications. The goal is to create an interactive and informal environment, where short talks will be followed by discussions and brainstorming sessions. While energy efficiency in communications is not a new topic, it has recently reemerged as an important research direction due to the vast amount of energy used by an increasing number of communication devices as well as new technological developments, such as energy harvesting, that require new system level design approaches. By bringing together leading scholars in the field, we aim in this workshop to discover new approaches and research directions in the general topic of energy efficiency in communications. The participants are encouraged to share new ideas and unresolved problems they have encountered in their research.

In addition to your participation, if you are also willing to present your results, ideas or open problems, please include a title and a short abstract in your email. The workshop will take place at the CTTC Demo Center located in the central business district of Barcelona.
